Holly Seltzer, MA

Holly Seltzer directs IPM’s strategic communications program, providing guidance to the organization’s leadership and staff and overseeing media relations, content development, and brand and issues management. Since joining IPM in 2008, Ms. Seltzer has held several communications positions to raise awareness of IPM’s work to develop new woman-centered HIV prevention tools and ensure they reach the women who urgently need them.

Ms. Seltzer has 25 years of experience leading health and scientific communications for nonprofits. She previously served as the senior publications director at Mental Health America, where she oversaw print and online communications and public education materials from creative development through delivery. Prior to that, she served as managing editor for a group of magazines and newsletters at the American Society for Blood Banks, and as production director at the Society for Neuroscience.

Ms. Seltzer holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in journalism and public affairs from American University.
