Are you attending Women Deliver 2016? You're invited! IPM is hosting a panel discussion and breakfast May 17 at Women Deliver 2016 in Copenhagen on the critical role partnerships play in driving innovation in women’s sexual and reproductive health.

On the heels of important evidence that a monthly vaginal ring can help prevent HIV in women, panelists will highlight lessons from the development of the dapivirine ring and discuss how partnerships are crucial to moving the ring forward, and potentially getting the ring into the hands of women who need it.

The panelists include:

  • Zeda Rosenberg, CEO, International Partnership for Microbicides
  • Sanne Helt, Chief Advisor, Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
  • Laura Kirkegaard, Head of International Development & Partnerships, AIDS-Fondet
  • Wim Parys, Vice President, Head of Research & Development, Global Public Health, Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson
  • Yvette Raphael, HIV and human rights activist
  • Kenneth Stokholm, Managing Director, QPharma

As we usher in the sustainable development era, investing in women has never been more important. We hope you will join us May 17 to shine a spotlight on the importance of investing in innovation for women's health. Please RSVP to attend in person, and follow us on Twitter at @IPMicrobicides and #StepUp4Her as we live tweet the event. See you there!
