Mike Goldrich, MBA

Mr. Goldrich leads the management and operations of IPM to align execution of its work with the annual operating budget, donor compliance and strategic plans. 

Mr. Goldrich joined IPM with a 45-year career of managing research institutions and scientific and clinical programs in the government, academia, corporate and nonprofit sectors. Before joining IPM, he served as the executive vice president (EVP) and chief operating officer (COO) for the New York Academy of Sciences, where he established a series of new global program networks. He previously served as EVP and COO of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, vice president for research operations at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School and was the founding COO for the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland.

During his early 25-year career at the National Institutes of Health he was a deputy director and COO at the Warren Magnuson Clinical Research Center, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and administrative director for cancer treatment at the National Cancer Institute.

Mr. Goldrich holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA in finance from Loyola University.
