Mr. Stevens has extensive management experience at major healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, including as executive vice president at GE Healthcare and at Amersham Plc. UK. Most recently, he served as interim finance director at the Foundation for FutureLondon, a nonprofit working to create a new culture and education district in London.
Between 2007 and 2015, Mr. Stevens was chairman of the ENTHUSE Charitable Trust, a multimillion-£ partnership between The Wellcome Trust, the UK government and leading international corporations aiming to enhance science education through continued professional development for science teachers. Prior to that, he directed the Oxford-Emergent Tuberculosis Consortium (OETC) Limited, focused on developing the world’s most clinically advanced tuberculosis vaccine (MVA85A). He has also held senior positions at Gedeon Richter Ltd. in Hungary, Wellcome Plc. in the UK and Syntex Corporation in the US.
Currently, Mr. Stevens serves on the Advisory Board of Chiesi Farmaceutici SpA, an Italian pharmaceutical group, and as a business advisor to the chairman of Gedeon Richter Ltd. He recently completed a term as a Board member, Audit Committee chair and Executive Committee member of EngenderHealth, which works to improve women’s health worldwide.
Mr. Stevens is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and studied at INSEAD business school in France.
