To help stop the spread of the epidemic, researchers are working to develop new prevention options like microbicides that will give women tools they can use to protect themselves against HIV.

The video is designed to raise awareness about microbicides in the communities where research is being conducted — and where these products are urgently needed. 

Developed by the Population Council and Paw Print Productions, with support from IPM and USAID. 

The video is narrated in five languages: English, French, kiSwahili, isiXhosa, and isiZulu (selectable on the DVD).
